Originally from Broken Hill, I have been drawing and painting most of my life, inspired by the brilliant colours of the outback. In 1986 I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts at Riverina Murray Institute, Wagga Wagga, and after also completing a Diploma of Education at Charles Sturt University, I moved to the Holbrook district where I have lived for 24 years with my husband and children. After recently selling our family farm and horticultural business, we have moved to Albury.

As an artist I like to focus on painting with an emphasis on linear movement. Whether using pastels, oils or acrylics I like to incorporate a painterly appearance with an aspect of drawing. I often work using acrylics, pastel and ink to build up layers of an image. I am passionate about colour so love to experiment with colour combinations to create a strong visual impact.
